The SEDA New Homes Buying Process — Experience The Difference
Guide to Home Buying
SEDA New Homes makes the home-buying process easy.
We want all of our clients to have the best possible home-buying experience every step of the way. Here’s how we do it:
A dedication to excellent service. Our team includes experienced Home Advisors who are dedicated to your complete satisfaction and ready to guide you through the process that leads to your perfect home. Our staff is always available to take your questions and make sure you’re happy before, during, and after the sale.
A wide range of choices. Unlike other builders who may limit your choices to only five or six plans in their communities, SEDA New Homes gives you a selection of more than 40 floor plans to choose from in most of our communities.
Options to personalize your new home. Our expansive Design Center is a one-stop showroom where you can select all of the details that make your home uniquely yours. Our Design Coordinator will meet with you to guide you through a comprehensive range of selections, including exterior and interior finishes, lighting, plumbing fixtures, tile, paint, flooring, cabinets, and so much more. SEDA New Homes is one of the few builders who provide extensive personalization opportunities to home buyers.
Guaranteed satisfaction. For our buyers’ peace of mind, every SEDA home comes with several warranties, including a limited 10-year warranty backed by the Bonded Builders Home Warranty Association.
How to get started.
Ready to begin your home-buying journey with SEDA New Homes? With just a few simple steps, you’ll be on your way to the beautiful new home you’ve always envisioned:
Review our communities and floor plans: Browse our website for information on our 9 communities located throughout Northeast Florida. On each community page, you can view the floor plans that are available, view a map and get directions, and learn more about amenities and features.
Visit SEDA New Homes’ communities in your area: We invite you to see the quality of SEDA homes for yourself! As you visit our communities, you’ll be able to speak with a SEDA Home Advisor in the model home. If you see particular exterior materials or features you like, be sure to make a note of them—our Design Coordinator can look up the details on specific homes and share materials information with you.
It’s a good idea to make multiple visits to the communities that make your short list. Visit during different times of day and on different days of the week to help you get a better feel for the neighborhood.
Let us know if you have questions: Your SEDA Home Advisor will gladly answer your questions and discuss your needs with you.
Choosing the community that’s right for you.
With a range of locations in Clay, Duval, Nassau, and St. Johns counties, varied community site plans, a choice of floor plans in each community and so much more, there’s a SEDA New Homes community to suit everyone’s style and needs. To help you refine your choices, consider what’s most important to you and your family:
- A location near your place of employment
- A particular school district for your children
- A large community with a lot of activity or a smaller, quieter neighborhood
- Amenities such as a community pool, playground, basketball court, lakes or walking trails
- Proximity to shopping, restaurants, beaches, parks, conservation areas, medical centers, major roadways or airports
- Price range and square footage
With a list of your wants and needs in hand, one of our SEDA Home Advisors can help you find the SEDA community that fits the bill.
Choosing a SEDA floor plan.
We know how important the choice of your new home’s floor plan is, so we want to make sure you have all of the information you need to make a decision. Once you’ve selected a SEDA community, a SEDA Home Advisor can help you make your selection from among the floor plans available in that community.
Your Home Advisor will want to know what you like and dislike about your current living space, what features you’d like to have in your ideal floor plan, how many members there are (or will be) in your household, and more. Make a quick list of your daily activities as they are now to get a better idea of how you and your family really use your space.
Before you review available floor plans in your chosen SEDA community, you may want to measure some of the rooms in your current home. This can make it easier to visualize the size of rooms on various floor plans.
