SEDA New Homes, one of Jacksonville’s largest locally owned home builders, celebrated Take Your Dog to Work Day on September 23rd with many happy, wagging tails that brightened everyone’s day.
“Our dogs, Callie, Sasha and Rob Roy, are a big part of our family,” says Linda Semanik, Vice-President of Sales at SEDA New Homes. “We wanted our SEDA family of employees to enjoy spending the day with their furry family members.”
The addition of 6 wagging tales made TGIF even more of a happy occasion.
“Dogs have always had a special place in our heart,” says Semanik. “We know they are an important part of everyone’s family, so if our employees need to bring their dog to work to care for them, we allow that.”
Over the years, the Semanik family has shown their love for canine companions by rescuing dozens of dogs and giving them a forever home.
In addition to their passion for animals, the Semaniks’ passion for building exceptional homes is evident by their outstanding reputation as one of Northeast Florida’s top home builders.
For six years in a row, SEDA New Homes was voted Best Local Home Builder in the Bold City Best competition.
“We are so honored to have won this prestigious award,” says Semanik. “We appreciate our SEDA family of homeowners and all who took the time to vote for us.”

The Floridian Enclave, a luxurious gated community near Amelia Island, is close to being built-out with few homesites remaining.
“The Floridian Enclave is a private community with a gated entrance that is tailored to those who desire an elegant, yet relaxed lifestyle,” says Linda Semanik, Vice-President of Sales at SEDA New Homes. “It has been very popular with empty-nesters looking to down-size yet remain in a single family home with luxurious features. We expect these remaining homesites to sell quickly.”
Ideally located by prestigious Amelia Island and historic Fernandina Beach, the community was designed to allow residents more time to enjoy all that Florida living has to offer. Maintenance free yards give homeowners the freedom to travel on their own schedule, or simply the ability to enjoy their weekends.
“At the Floridian Enclave, we focus on easy and luxurious living,” says Semanik. “The landscape and lawn maintenance are provided by the HOA, as well as the yard irrigation water, fertilization and lawn pest control.”
The Floridian Enclave was designed as a one-of-a-kind community limited to only 53 picturesque lakefront or scenic preserve homesites.
The homes feature architectural elements that showcase a coastal flair including welcoming front porches and metal roof accents.
